Price Services by Time and Distance
Charge more after hours, less off-peak, and by how far the client is, with every change shown before they book.
A service can cost more at 11 PM than at noon, and a ride to the airport costs more than a ride across town. Variable Pricing lets one service do both, without a second copy of it on your menu.

Open a service and expand Variable Pricing. Each rule you add is shown to the client, with its label, before they book: on the booking page, in the AI receptionist's quote, and on the ticket.
- Add Time Rule changes the price during a window of days and hours: a fixed amount or a percentage of the price. A negative amount is a discount. Also make these hours bookable opens that window for booking even outside your regular hours.
- Add Distance Rule charges by how far the visit is: a Call-out charge, a Rate per mile or kilometer beyond the Included distance, and an optional Maximum distance beyond which the service cannot be booked online. Trip picks round trip or one way, and Measured as picks driving distance or a straight line.
Distance pricing needs an address from the client: turn on Ask for address or Ask for destination in the service's Booking & Visibility.
Quantity and distance: Charge per unitCopy a link to this section
By default the trip is charged once per booking, whatever the quantity. Two haircuts at one address are one drive, so a mobile stylist charges travel once.
When each unit makes the trip itself, turn on Charge per unit on the distance rule. A limo or black car service booking two vehicles for the same ride is two trips, so the distance charge is multiplied by the quantity: a $442.80 ride booked for two vehicles comes to $885.60, not $442.80 plus a second base price. The same total shows on the booking page, in the AI receptionist's quote and on the ticket.
Quantity still lengthens the appointment on the calendar as it always has.
Several services with distance rulesCopy a link to this section
If several services in one booking have distance rules, only the highest travel charge applies, so the client is never billed for the same drive twice.
DepositsCopy a link to this section
A deposit set as a percentage is worked out from the price after these rules. When the AI receptionist books a ride priced by distance, it tells the client the price and the deposit in one question, once the pickup and drop-off are known, and a single yes holds the time: see Require Deposits and Prepayment.
