Present Your Numbers With Privacy Mode
Hide stylist names, amounts, client details or commissions on your screen before you livestream or share it on a call.
Privacy Mode is for the moments you show Perceny to people who should not see everything on it: a livestream, a team call where you share your screen, a meeting where you present the month's results. It hides the categories you choose behind ••••••, the way a password field does, while the rest of the page keeps working.

- Open your account menu: the avatar at the top right on the web, or the Profile tab in the app.
- Choose Privacy Mode. It is offered to owners and managers.
- Turn on what you want hidden:
- Stylist Names/Information: stylist names on the calendar, in reports, in tables and in stylist pickers.
- Amounts: prices, totals, revenue, payouts and the figures on your earnings, reports, tickets, cash register and calendar revenue badges. Hiding amounts hides commissions too.
- Client Names/Information: client names on the calendar and appointment screens, and client names, phone numbers and emails in the client list, ticket tables and reports.
- Commissions: commission amounts and rates, while your other amounts stay visible.

While anything is hidden, an eye icon with a line through it sits in the top bar on the web. Click it to change the switches. In the app, the Privacy Mode row in your profile shows On.

Open Privacy Mode again and choose Turn Off Privacy Mode, or switch the categories off one by one.
Good to knowCopy a link to this section
- Privacy Mode belongs to the device, not your account. Turning it on on your laptop does not hide anything on the front desk computer or your phone, and the setting stays on that device until you turn it off.
- It changes what the screen shows, not who can see what. Permissions still decide what each person can open.
- The kiosk is never masked, because clients use it.
- Some exports still contain the real values. Check a file before you share it.
