Your Earnings Tab
The four earnings cards, what each drill-down shows, and how to get from a number you do not believe to the tickets behind it — on the phone.
The Earnings tab answers "how am I doing" without opening a laptop, and — more usefully — lets you tap a number until it becomes a list of tickets.

Current Period · Today · Yesterday · This Month
Each shows the money for that window. Current Period follows your pay period, so it is the one that matches what you will actually be paid; This Month is a calendar month and will disagree with it whenever your period does not start on the 1st. That is not a bug — see Run a pay period.
Every card has Show Details, which opens the Earnings Overview already filtered to that window.
The Period SummaryCopy a link to this section
Below the cards is the same Period Summary the dashboard shows, on a phone: gross, net, services, products, tips, discounts, refunds, fees, commission, deductions. Each line is collapsible so you are not scrolling past twenty rows to reach the one you want.
Every line means the same thing it means on web, so learn it once. Read the Period Summary is the reference.
Drilling downCopy a link to this section
This is what the tab is for. Tap through and you get sheets and screens, not dead ends:
- Tickets behind a figure — the earnings ticket list, tappable straight through to each ticket.
- Commission Breakdown — what was earned per item, plus the tiers that applied for the period: rate, base amount, whether it was Achieved, and where it came from (General, Personal or Override). If your commission looks wrong, this is the screen that explains it. See Commission tiers and the matrix.
- Deductions and Expenses — every line, and you can add one from here with the create sheets.
- Discount usage — what was given away, and by whom.
- Debt history — movements on a stylist's balance over time.
- Pending appointments — what is still booked and unpaid in the window.
- Paid by — the payment-method tiles: card, cash, gift card, external apps, each with its share.
- Kept cash — where Stylist Keeps Cash is in play, what has been kept and what that means for the balance. See Stylist keeps cash, explained.
- Stylist balances — who owes what, for a manager.

A card ranking today's takings by stylist. Motivating in a good shop and corrosive in a bad one, so it respects permissions: a stylist who is not allowed to see others' earnings does not see other people on it.

Ticket statistics and the earnings line chart plot the window rather than listing it — useful for spotting the shape of a week (dead Tuesdays, packed Saturdays) which a table hides.
FiltersCopy a link to this section
The filter bar scopes everything on the tab: the period, the stylist, and whatever else your role allows. A manager can look at one stylist's numbers; a stylist sees their own.
ExportingCopy a link to this section
The export menu sends the earnings data out as a file, with the same columns the web export produces — so month-end paperwork can start on your phone and finish on a laptop.
When the tab is closed to youCopy a link to this section
"Earnings are not shared with you — ask an owner or manager if you need access to this business's numbers."
Earnings visibility is several distinct permissions, not one: seeing your own earnings, seeing today's takings, seeing other people's, seeing processing fees, seeing tip processing fees. That is deliberate — a shop can show a stylist their own commission without opening the business's whole P&L. The app checks each one exactly as the dashboard does. See Roles and permissions explained.
When a number looks wrongCopy a link to this section
Do not argue about it from the summary. Tap into it:
- Open the drill-down for the line you doubt.
- Get to the ticket list.
- Open the ticket and look at its items, its stylist, its payments and its commission.
Nine times out of ten the answer is one of: the ticket is on the wrong stylist, a supply price is being deducted, a tier changed mid-period, or the window you are looking at is not the window you are being paid on. Each of those has its own page: Ticket on the wrong stylist, Supply price and commission, Change a commission rate mid-period, and Commission looks wrong.

New businesses get an onboarding steps card on this tab — the short list of what is still missing before the app is genuinely useful (bank account, service menu, team, first payment). It disappears once you are done.
