Create Custom Booking Links
A booking link that offers only some stylists or barbers, only some services, a promo code applied for the client, and an end date: how to make one, share it, and count what it booked.
What a booking link isCopy a link to this section
A booking link is your normal booking page with a narrower menu. The client goes through the same steps, sees the same times, pays the same deposits and agrees to the same policy; the link only decides who they can book, what they can book, and whether a promo code is already applied.
Use one wherever a general "book with us" link is too broad:
- A campaign for one service: "colour consultations, this month only, 20% off".
- A page for the new stylists, so their books fill without taking clients from anyone else.
- An event or a partner: a hotel concierge, a wedding party, a corporate day.
- An ad, so you can see exactly how many bookings it produced.
Every stylist still has their personal booking link (left navigation → Booking Links → Copy Personal Booking Link). You do not need a custom link for that.
Create oneCopy a link to this section
Business Settings → Custom Booking Links, then Create. In the Perceny app the same page is under More → Business Settings → Custom Booking Links. The form has:
- Name: what you and your team see in the table. Clients do not see it.
- Link Code: the part of the address that identifies the link, such as
summer-color. It must be unique among your links. Keep it short and readable; it appears in the URL. - Active: switch it off to pause the link without deleting it.
- Expires On: optional. After this date the link stops applying.
- Staff: Everyone, Only Selected (pick the stylists the link offers), or Everyone Except (pick the ones it leaves out).
- Services: All, Only Selected, or All Except, the same way.
- Promo Code: optional. A discount whose promo code is applied for the client automatically.
- Google Tag IDs, Google Ads Booking Conversions and Meta Pixel IDs: optional tracking for this link only. See Track Your Own Ads per Link and per Stylist.
Save, and the link is live.
Only some stylistsCopy a link to this section
Staff → Only Selected with three stylists picked means a client on that link sees those three, and Any Available Stylist chooses among those three only. It never falls back to the rest of the team when they are fully booked: the client sees fewer times instead. That is the point of the link.
Everyone Except is the opposite: useful to keep a senior stylist, or someone on leave, off a discounted campaign.
A link limited to exactly one stylist behaves like that stylist's own page, which matters for their ad tracking (see the next tutorial).
Only some servicesCopy a link to this section
Services → Only Selected offers just the services you pick; All Except hides the ones you pick. The list holds services, not add-ons: an add-on follows the service it is added to, and the rest of the flow works as it does on your normal page. A service a stylist does not perform is still not offered with them; the link narrows the menu, it never widens it.
A promo code on the linkCopy a link to this section
Pick a discount under Promo Code and anyone who books from the link gets it without typing anything. The discount keeps its own rules: its expiry, its usage limits, new clients only, the stylists it is restricted to. Cap its total uses before you put the link in an ad. See Apply Discounts and Promo Codes.
A discount on its own already has a Copy Booking Link of its own. Use a custom booking link instead when the offer should also be limited to some stylists or services, should expire with the campaign, or needs its own tracking.
Share itCopy a link to this section
Each row in the table has:
- Copy Link: the address to paste into a bio, a text, an email or an ad.
- QR Code: for a poster, a flyer or the counter.
- Open: the page as a client sees it. Book yourself once before you share it.
- Edit and Delete.
The address is your booking page with ?link= and the code on the end, for example
/book/your-business?link=summer-color. It works on your own domain too.
On your own website, the booking widget can open a link instead of your general page: add
data-booking-link="summer-color" to the widget's <script> tag. See
Add the Booking Widget to Your Website.

The Bookings column counts the appointments booked through each link. Every appointment made from a live link remembers which link it came from, so the count is exact, not an estimate from clicks.
Pausing, expiring and deletingCopy a link to this section
Switch Active off, or let Expires On pass, and the link stops applying: its staff and service limits, its promo code and its tracking no longer apply, and nothing booked afterwards is counted against it. Appointments it already booked are not touched. Turn it back on, or move the date, to bring it back.
Delete removes the link from the table for good. If the link might come back next season, switch it off instead and keep its booking count.
Who can do thisCopy a link to this section
The Manage Booking Links permission, in the permissions block of Features Configuration → Website Settings. Owners and managers have it by default; you can grant it to any role, or to one person from the Permissions tab of their member editor.
