Timesheets and Correcting Punches
See each team member’s clock-in, clock-out and hours for the pay period, fix a wrong punch, and pull the whole team’s timesheet for payroll.
A timesheet answers three questions for every shift: when the person clocked in, when they clocked out, and how many hours that was. Perceny keeps one for every team member, built from the punches they make when they mark attendance.
One person’s timesheet, from the calendarCopy a link to this section
- On the Calendar, click the team member’s name at the top of their column.
- Choose View Timesheet.
You get every shift in the current pay period: the day, the clock-in time, the clock-out time and the hours, with any break time shown as away. Under the shifts are the person’s Total working, Total away and Total hours. Working hours exclude breaks, and they are the number to pay hourly staff on.
Use the date picker at the top to look at another range: Last period, This week, a custom range and so on. The timesheet opens on the current pay period, so set your pay period (weekly, biweekly…) and first pay date on Business Settings → Information first. A shift that is still running shows as Still clocked in, with its hours counted up to now.
On the app, tap the name at the top of the column and choose View Timesheet. The arrows step back and forward one pay period at a time.

Someone forgot to clock out, or clocked in late from the wrong device. To fix it:
- On the web, click the pencil next to the shift in View Timesheet, or open Monitoring → Attendance and use Edit on the row. Change the clock-in, the clock-out or the breaks, and submit.
- On the app, open View Timesheet and tap Open Attendance Page, then edit the shift there.
The timesheet updates as soon as the change is saved.
Who can change a shift directly: owners, and managers whose role still includes Allow Manage Attendance. Anyone else can still make the correction, but it goes to a manager as a request under Monitoring → Requests and only changes the shift once it is approved. See Approve staff requests. Deleting a shift follows the same rule.
View Timesheet itself appears for anyone whose role includes both Allow Manage Attendance (the permission behind Mark Attendance in that menu) and Allow Navigating As, which lets them read another member’s records. The default Owner, Manager and Cashier roles have both.

Open Monitoring → Reports → Attendance Hours & Timesheet. Pick the pay period at the top. The timesheet is the first thing under the totals: one block per team member, every shift with its clock-in, clock-out and hours, and each person’s totals underneath. The chart and the per-person summary sit below it.
Use Export to download it as CSV or PDF for your payroll provider or your accountant.
Missing a shift entirelyCopy a link to this section
If someone worked and never clocked in at all, add the shift by hand: Monitoring → Attendance → Add attendance, pick the person and enter the times. Members without the Allow Create Attendance permission send it as a request instead.
