Ticket on the Wrong Stylist
Moving work and money to the person who actually did it, before and after checkout.
A ticket's owner is who earns the commission on it. Getting it wrong costs somebody money, so fix it rather than settling up by hand.
Before checkout
Change the ticket's owner, or change the professional on the appointment it came from. On the calendar you can drag the appointment to another stylist when Drag for Change Stylist is on, and there is an explicit Change Professional action.
Nothing has been paid, so nothing needs unpicking.
After checkout
This is harder, because commission has been calculated and money has moved. Options, in order of preference:
1. Move the ownership if you can. If your permissions allow reassigning a completed ticket, do that — it is the only fix that leaves the history intact and the commission correct in the right period.
2. Record a correction as payments. Record a payment to the person who should have earned it, and record the recovery from the person who did. Both go through Payments in the left navigation. This leaves an honest, auditable trail: two records that explain each other.
3. Refund and re-ticket. The heaviest option. Refund the ticket, create it correctly under the right person, and take payment again. Only worth it if the amount is large and the period is still open — and be aware that the refund lands in the original ticket's period.
Do not just delete the ticket. Deleting removes the revenue as well as the mistake.
If two people worked on it
If the reason it looks wrong is that two people were involved, the answer is not to move it — it is a collaboration. Each person gets their own ticket for their own work, the client pays once, and commission is calculated per person. Set it up that way next time. See Run a collaboration.
If it was a business-owned ticket
Shared-waitlist walk-ins belong to the business until someone is assigned. If they are being checked out with nobody's name on them, turn on Disable Checkout From Business (Ticket Settings) — it stops a business-owned ticket being checked out until a stylist is assigned.
Check the period afterwards
Whatever route you take, reopen both people's Period Summary and confirm the numbers moved the way you expected — in the right direction, and in the right period.
