Set Up Your Perceny Website

Turning on the site you get for free, deciding what it shows, and pointing clients at it.

Beginner5 minWeb dashboard

Every Perceny business gets a public website with your services, your team and your booking flow on it. For a lot of shops it is the only website they need.

Turn it on

Business Settings → Features Configuration → Website Settings → Enable Website.

With it off, the site returns a not-found page — and visitors are sent to your custom website instead if you have one configured.

Decide what it shows

  • Disable Booking from Website — the site stays up but does not take bookings. Rarely what you want.
  • Hide Services from Website — no service list. Only sensible if you quote everything in person.
  • Hide Memberships from Website / Disable Membership Purchase from Website — hide memberships, or show them without a Buy button.
  • Hide Personalized Gift Card from Website / Disable Gift Card Purchase from Website — the same pair for gift cards.
  • Allow Walk-In Check-In on Website — visitors can join the walk-in queue from your site. If you run walk-ins, turn this on: people check the wait before leaving home, and it takes pressure off the door.

Make it look like you

Your logo, your colours and your theme come from Business Settings. The site background and theme fields are on the Information tab and the site settings — set them once, properly. A default-looking site converts worse than a branded one.

Point everything at it

Booking Links gives you the URLs. There are links for the business, and links that pre-select a stylist or a service — those belong in each stylist's Instagram bio.

Put the site link on your Google Business Profile, and turn on Enable Google Book Online Button (Google Reserve) so people can book from Google directly.

Tracking

Before you spend anything on ads, fill in the four fields on this tab: Google Tag ID, the two conversion labels, and your Meta Pixel ID. Conversions are not backfilled. See Referrals and attribution.

Reviews

Each stylist can have a review URL on their profile, and Request Review After Client Visits asks clients for a review once they hit a visit count you choose. Reviews are what make the Google listing work, and the listing is what makes the website work.

Check it on a phone

Most of your visitors are on a phone, standing up, deciding in about eight seconds. Open your own site on one and try to book. If anything takes more than a moment to understand, fix that before you change anything else.
