Your Receptionist's Weekly Digest
Every Monday morning, owners and managers get the AI receptionist's week by email and push: calls answered, bookings and their value, holds placed and paid, hand-offs and why, missed calls and what it did about them, and the top issue from its call reviews. Here is what each line means, who gets it, and how to switch it off.
The AI Reservations report tells you everything the AI receptionist did, but only when you go and open it. The weekly digest brings the headline figures to you: every Monday at 8 in the morning, in your location's time zone, each owner and manager gets one email and one push notification with the receptionist's last seven days.
What the digest saysCopy a link to this section
The week runs from Monday to Sunday, the seven days before the Monday it arrives. Every figure is read off the AI Reservations report for that week, so the digest and the report always agree.
- Calls Answered: the calls the receptionist was on.
- Replies Sent: its replies on every channel, text, email, web chat and phone.
- Bookings Made and Value Booked: the appointments it booked and what they are worth, after discounts. Cancelled and no-show visits are left out of the value.
- Holds Placed and Holds Paid: bookings it held for a deposit, a prepayment or a card on file, and how many of those went through. A hold released unpaid counts as placed, never paid.
- Messages Handed to the Team and Calls Handed to the Team: conversations it passed to a person, and calls it put through to someone or left for the team. Under Why It Handed Off, the most common reasons, such as No Answer on File or Team Follow-Up Promised.
- Missed Calls: calls to your line nobody answered, and what the receptionist did about them: Texted Back, Called Back, or Left Alone (the caller opted out, it was quiet hours, or they were already reached that day). Missed-call follow-ups only happen when you switched them on under Automation & AI → AI Assistant.
- Top Issue From the Call Reviews: the problem its automatic call reviews named most that week, and on how many calls. Listen to one of those calls first.
The email ends with Open the Report, which opens Monitoring → Reports on the AI Reservations report. Tapping the push does the same.
A week the receptionist did nothing in, with no calls, replies, bookings, hand-offs or missed-call follow-ups, sends no digest at all.
Who gets itCopy a link to this section
Owners and managers of the location, once each, by email and push. Nothing is sent to stylists or front-desk staff. A person who manages several locations gets one digest per location, each in that location's time zone.
The digest is built from the reports alone; nothing is asked of an AI model to write it, so it costs no credits.
Switch it offCopy a link to this section
The digest is on for every location whose AI receptionist is answering. To stop it, open Automation & AI → AI Assistant, then Activity & Improvements, and turn off Weekly Digest for Owners and Managers. Turn the receptionist itself off and the digest stops with it.
To keep the digest but drop one channel, open Features Configuration → Communications, find AI Receptionist Weekly Digest under Team → Messaging, and turn off Email or Push for it. The global email and push switches at the top of that page apply to the digest too.
